The Killing Is Dead Tour brings together two of the UK’s deadliest ascendants from the rock underground on one knock-out bill. Kicking off in Newcastle on October the 11th, the tour culminates in a fright-night support slot for Fearless Vampire Killers on Wednesday 13’s Halloween show at Koko, London on October 31st.
We caught up with London’s very own merchants of theatrical death-pop Fearless Vampire Killers at their show at Manchester Academy 3 and had a chat with them (in full makeup, naturally) about their debut album ‘Militia Of The Lost’, the origin of their name (and their thoughts on Bad Brains) and their upcoming tour plans!
Fearless Vampire Killers are a London based death pop band who despite their theatrical make-up, love of talcum powder, and gothic dress sense, are frank in their opinions of themselves, amused that they may be perceived as style-over-substance by those who take things at face value. By creating an intricate world of escapism around themselves, where the borders are marked by thematic lyrics, bold visuals and graphic art, contention is redundant when it comes to their dystopian plain.
