Degenerate loner punks Drug Church are streaming the track ‘Donny’s Woods’ taken from “Paul Walker”, the excellently named full length follow up to their self-titled debut EP. Donny’s Woods is “a song about how quickly people will forget about your ass”. Sonically, it’s a snarling rager of gravelly punk rock bitterness and a perfect introduction to those who might be new to Drug Church.
Consisting of Patrick Kindlon (End of A Year, Self Defense Family), Chris Villeneuve (drums), Nick Cogan (guitar), Cory Galusha (guitar) and Pat Wynne (bass), Drug Church is:
“the sound garbage makes when thrown off a roof into the dumpster your dickhead boss rented for your underpaying contractor gig. Come back in a few weeks and steal the copper piping because there’s no other benefit to the job and you’re probably getting sick from asbestos, so to hell with it.”
Want to know what that means? Listen to Donny’s Woods HERE now.
“Paul Walker” is out on No Sleep Records, July 22nd 2013.
