Without Maps are a four-piece punk band hailing from Nottingham. Drawing comparisons to the likes of Hot Snakes, Meneguar and Pretty Girls Make Graves the band have been making waves across the UK as a result of their energetic live performances and strong DIY ethics – aside from playing music together, the band also co-run a DIY practice space and venue, and run their own independent record label, 49s v Dolphins.
Following the release of single “Naked Light” on Kissability (Transgressive/BBC Introducing’s Jen Long), Without Maps have announced the release of their debut album, Capillaries. The record will be out on CD on the 25 March 2013 as a split release between Barely Regal Records and the bands own label.
Capillaries is available to pre-order now on CD from barelyregalrecords.bandcamp.com, where fans can also download two tracks from the record for free: “Naked Light” and “JCVD”. All pre-orders come with an instant download of all 10 tracks from the album ahead of the physical release date in March.
To coincide with the news of their debut album release, Without Maps have announced a number of live dates this Easter, as well as news of a full UK tour with Bayoné in May (full dates TBA).
